The NMMS answer key 2016 is published on 8 November 2016 Every State /UT conducted the Means Cum Merit Scholarship Test today on 6th November 2016 successfully for Selection of student for the award of Means- cum – Merit Scholarship. This State Level Examination having 2 test – Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). MAT Consist 100 MCQ’s of Verbal and Non Verbal like reasoning and critical thinking and SAT also having 100 Questions covering subjects name – science, Social Studies and Mathematics taught in 7th and 8th std. Exam duration was 90 minute.
AP NMMS 6th Nov Answer key 2016-2017: It is to inform that the state cum national level means cum merit certificate examination notification was released for the class VIII students all Andhra pradesh state by AP education board. This exam was scheduled to be conducted on 6th November 2016 at all the 13 districts in the states at various revenue divisional headquarters and also at various examination centers. The exam is going to be conducted for the class VIII students and exam time was from10:00 to 01:00 PM on 6th November 2016. All the students who are interested to attempt the exam have applied for the exam and they have received their admit cards for the exam. All the eligible students are going to write the exam on 6th november 2016. Many students in the AP state are interested in the exam as it makes them to gain knowledge and also can win the scholar ship. This is the better platform for the students to make them reach the outer competitive world.
Required Eligibility criteria for the students for NMMS EXAMS:
->All the students must have at least 55% in the class VII exams for OC/BC and 50% marks for the SC/ST students.
->There shouldn’t be any gaps after class VII.
->Students must be studying in ZP government, local body or government aided schools.
->Students parents annual income should be less that 1,50,000
->Candidates should submit original caste certificate.
->Students should submit the 7th class marks memo.
Exam pattern for NMMS AP EXAMS (National Means Cum Merit): NMMS EXAM consists of 2 Steps. 1st is on MAT (Mental ability test) in which the pattern consists of 90 questions and the second step is SAT (scholastic ability test) for 90 marks with social, science and mathematics as syllabus. Previous year question papers are also available with the AP NMMS 6th Nov Answer key 2016-2017. Students of general category should get 40% marks to get qualified in the exam and for the BC students it is 35% and whereas for PH and SC/ST it is 25%

->The Ministry for Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched centrally sponsored National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (N.M.M.S.S). Under this scheme an examination will be conducted and selected candidates will get the scholarship.
->Every year 1, 00,000 students will be selected throughout India. Out of which 4087 scholarships are being allotted to Residuary Andhra Pradesh and have been distributed among the districts basing on enrollment in VII and VIII Classes for each academic year.
->The Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is conducting NMMS examination from August 2008.
->This examination is conducted every year in the month of November for the students in class VIII studying inGovernment/ Local Body/Municipal/Aided Schools are eligible for this examination.
->The candidates who got minimum 55% of marks for OC/BC candidates and 50% for SC/ST in VII Standard.
->The beneficiaries are being selected basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms followed by the state.
->State Norms including 3% reservation for P.H candidates. (S.C 15%; S.T 6%; B.C-A 7%; B.C-B 10%; B.C-C 1%; B.C-D 7% ; BC-E 4%).
Pattern of Examination is as follows:
Mental Ability Test (M.A.T) – 90 marks multiple choice questions.
Scholastic Ability Test (S.A.T) – 90 marks covering social science, science and mathematics of class VII & VIII. Each question carry one mark
AP NMMS 6th Nov Answer key 2016-2017 Qualifying percentage is as follows:
->Gen 40% B.C 35% S.C/S.T/P.H 25%
->The Govt vide G.O Rt No.713 dated 25/09/2008, permitted the Director of Government Examinations to collect Rs.100/- for O.C/B.C and Rs. 50/- from S.C/S.T towards examination fee.
->The candidate’s parental income should be below Rs. 1,50,000/- p.a.
->The awardee will receive a sum of Rs. 6000/- per annum for which the awardee shall have to open a joint account with their parents in any S.B.I or in any Nationalized Banks which has core banking facility/ESC facility. On providing the Bank account number list by the states, the Ministry for Human Resource Development, New Delhi will sanction the scholarships and send such list to the SBI, New Delhi for disbursement of scholarships to the awardees. The candidate will get the scholarship amount through SBI, New Delhi on quarterly basis directly.
